The biggest UK's design event

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the biggest UK's design event 100% Design welcomes a wealth of talent to Earl’s Court, with renowned international designer Philippe Starck opening proceedings on 17th September.

Heal’s, Nina Tolstrup and Jaime Huyton are just three of the big names appearing at the show, widely regarded as the UK’s most prestigious design event.

Four industry sectors are targeted this year:

  • Interiors
  • Kitchens and Bathrooms
  • Design and Build
  • Workplace and Eco

As well as opening the event, Philippe Starkey will launch his new ceramic tile collection entitled ‘Flexible Architecture.’

Established names and young, up-and-coming designers showcase their talent at 100% Design. Furniture giant Heal’s will launch the winning designs for the ‘Heal’s Discovers’ programme, which helps students turn their design ideas into commercial products.

Lighting brands taking part include Weplight, Polish glass company Barnaska Design, Original BTC, and Davey Lighting.

Be sure to check out British furniture artisans Barnby & Day, Aura Interiors and Paul Kelley, who has a new collection. Wallpaper by Studio Job will be on show, along with lighting by Graypants.

Swiss designers, Vitra, showcase a range of new designs from their Home Collection, while British crafters including glass artist Jo Downs and heritage ceramic company 1882 Ltd, appear at the event to unveil their new collections for residential interior design.

A popular addition to this year’s interiors section is ‘The Maker Carousel.’ Designed by Mette, this hands-on installation will illustrate the various stages of design and production.

Kitchens and Bathrooms
DuPont™ Corian® will reveal the winners of its Shape the Future of Black competition at the show. You’ll also be able to see the work of ceramic tile manufacturer, Ceramika Paradyz from Poland, and a variety of natural stone worktops by Norwegian company Lundhs.

Piqu showcase their new collection of kitchen furniture, while Poggenpohl choose the event to launch their P’7350 kitchen in the UK.

German manufacturers/designers Keramag Design bring their new range of slim bathroom furniture to the show, with Kos and Teuco showcasing their latest collections. Apavisa, Tisettanta, Porcelanosa and Antolini Luigi also appear at 100% Design this year.

CMS Ergonomics reveal their wireless charging innovation for home and office interior design. Beautiful, ergonomic office chairs will be showcased by Bestuhl UK, with Topstar also presenting their latest collection.

An innovative design allowing chairs to be linked and stacked will be launched at the show. Offering a practical solution in any workplace, ‘Monolink’ is one of the latest creations by Dutch firm Casala.

The Workplace hub is being created by architecture and design experts NBBJ. Their design for the show addresses the need to incorporate a social space within the working environment, and uses a hotel lobby as inspiration.
